Brian J. Burrough, M.D.

Dr. Brian Burrough is a board-certified anesthesiologist with subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine and a founding partner of Florida Spine Associates. He is widely recognized for his expertise in interventional pain management and minimally invasive spine procedures, with a focus on restoring function and enhancing quality of life.

Dr. Burrough specializes in a comprehensive range of minimally invasive treatments for orthopedic and spine-related conditions.

Before attending medical school, Dr. Burrough earned a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Health, graduating magna cum laude, from the University of North Florida. He then served as an outpatient rehabilitation director in South Florida, an experience that shaped his patient-centered approach to care.

Dr. Burrough went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Miami and completed his anesthesiology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. He then trained as a Clinical Fellow in Anesthesia at Harvard Medical School, pursuing an Interventional Pain Management Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. While there he gained advanced training in epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, kyphoplasty, and other image-guided procedures.
