Arthur Germain, M.D.
Dr. Arthur L. Germain is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in diagnosis, non-invasive treatment and rehabilitation of spinal conditions and all aspects of general orthopedics including arthritis, sports injuries, and extremity pain.
Upon earning a medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, he completed an Orthopaedic Surgery residency program at CMDNJ, now known as Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
During his residency, Dr. Germain had comprehensive training in all aspects of general orthopedics, specializing in hand, knee, and shoulder, as well as spinal conditions, including scoliosis, trauma, stenosis, disc surgery, and reconstruction of severe deformity and cancer, working extensively with the top spine specialty group at the medical school.
He is interested in complex cases in which previous treatment has been unsuccessful. Starting with determining the most accurate current diagnosis, Dr. Germain’s goal is to help patients understand the cause of their symptoms, and assist them with deciding whether surgery or pain management is indicated, or if they can expect relief of pain and impairment with rehabilitative treatment.
